Pesto Pasta

A super quick and easy dish, perfect for when your cupboards are empty but you still want something delicious! You can make this dish as easy or as hard as you like (I've opted for the easy jar of pesto option!).

Preparation and cooking time: 15 minutes.
Approximately 420 calories per portion.
Ingredients:
- 75g of pasta
- 20g of cheese (grated or shaved)
- 1 tbsp of pesto
- Pine nuts (not essential)
- Handful of parsley (not essential)
- Salt & pepper
Boil your pasta for 8-12 minutes.
Drain the pasta and then pour back into the pot on a low heat.
Add the pesto, pine nuts and parsley to the pasta and combine together. Season with salt and pepper.
Add 1/2 of your cheese to the pot and allow to melt for 1-2 minutes.
Serve your pasta, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and voila!
